Women Sages of India
Meditative Practice on Awakening the Divine Feminine Within

Inspiring stories of the female yogic sages of India will be followed by a description of the Shakta (Divine Feminine) tradition in yoga-meditation. You will be introduced to a beginning level practice for feminine peace and empowerment in meditation. In this seminar you will be introduced to the indigenous yoga-meditation tradition of the Himalayan masters. The stages of meditative practices and experiences that reach beyond the generic term "mindfulness" will be explained. You'll be guided through, and also receive a meditation, relaxation, and diaphragmatic breathing practice to use at home. A list of resources for reading material about the physiological affects of meditation and relaxation will be provided. This is a beginning to intermediate level seminar. Newcomers are welcome.
